The hunt for Australia’s ultimate reserve team is on.
Enter for your shot at a $50,000 Uber Reserve sponsorship!

What would $50K
mean to your team?

At Uber, we want to support the communities that we operate in. That includes both metropolitan and regional towns, and the heart of these towns – their local sports clubs.

That’s why we’re searching for Australia’s most deserving reserve or community team because, just like our trusty reserve teams, Uber Reserve has your back too.

We’re looking for the underdogs, the underfunded, and the unconventional. So grab a camera, grab your teammates, and in a 60-second video show us why your team deserves $50K.

We’ve teamed up with Aussie soccer legend Mary Fowler and the hosts of the podcast Hello Sports to crown Australia’s most deserving Uber Reserve Heroes. Our prestigious panel will judge your entries and help pick the most deserving to win!

Frequently asked questions

  • Is my team eligible to enter?

Your team is eligible to enter if it is a reserve or non-professional (that is not paid to play) local or community sports team or club in Australia whose members are aged 18 or over. Examples include a local or reserve sporting team, club side, or social team from male, female, or mixed competition.

For more information, please check the T&Cs below.

  • I play individual sports (eg: Chess or Swimming). Am I still considered a team to enter?

If you are part of an Australian team or sporting league that meets the criteria above, your team or league can enter (even if you play an individual sport). Please provide this information in your application submission form alongside your video submission.

  • I am having technical difficulties uploading my file

If you need any support please email nathan@hellosocial.com.au.

  • What does “most deserving” mean?

Perhaps you man the canteen for the junior team in your free time, or maybe the team volunteers for a large community fundraising initiative. Whatever you do, tell us your story. Tell us about your team, your hometown spirit, and what drives your sporting camaraderie.

  • What kind of stories are you looking for?

Anything appropriate to an all-ages audience. Are you the underdogs in your local league and made finals and need new bibs or uniforms to participate? Who is your team mascot or is there a local story about your team’s origin, name of the team or venue? How did your team meet or come together?

Give us an idea of who you are, what you represent and what playing your sport means to you. There is also space on the submission form for details that might not make it to the video.
